Firstly, hello and thank you for taking the time to visit us as The Legal Side!

We began this blog as a group of three first-year students preparing to enter our second year studying law at Newcastle University. Having a range of hobbies and commitments between us, we can each understand how difficult transitioning into a challenging law degree can be. With this blog, we aim to offer advice on settling in to an undergraduate law degree, as well as breaking down difficult topics into more accessible concepts and providing the 'legal side' of current affairs and everyday issues from the student perspective.

 

As our blog has expanded, we have had a notable interest from readers wishing to contribute to our project. As a result, in July 2020 we began the process of searching for contributors, and have selected a number of talented young students across the world to share their experiences of their legal journey.
